Philodendron 'Strawberry Shake' is a variegated Philodendron erubescens cultivar with leaves that can carry green, cream, yellow, orange, and pink on the same stem, sometimes on the same leaf. That unpredictability is part of its appeal, but it still behaves like a practical indoor climber once given a pole or trellis. Under support it can reach around 1.5 m indoors, and the foliage becomes more dramatic as the stem gains height and strength.
Bright, indirect light helps the plant grow well without scorching the pale tissue, while watering after the top 2–3 cm of substrate has dried protects the roots from stagnation. It prefers temperatures around 18–27 °C, humidity of about 60% or higher, and a well-draining mix with bark and perlite. It remains toxic if chewed by pets or people.
