Rhipsalis baccifera subsp. horrida keeps the flowing habit of Mistletoe Cactus but adds a rougher, more bristly texture to the stems, giving it a slightly wilder and more tactile look. The long trailing growth makes it ideal for hanging baskets and high shelves, while the non-toxic, spineless structure keeps it safe for homes with pets. In bright filtered light, stems can blush slightly, and mature growth may produce small yellowish flowers followed by pale berries.
It still prefers airy epiphytic substrate, consistent but moderate watering, and good humidity rather than desert treatment.
For collectors who like Rhipsalis but want something a little rougher and less polished, horrida is a strong pick.
