Thaumatophyllum spruceanum 'Green Wonder', also sold as 'Fun Bun', is grown for its twisting, spiralling stems and broad glossy leaves, giving the whole plant a more dynamic silhouette than most self-heading aroids. It forms an upright architectural specimen with time, rather than a climbing vine, and can reach around 1.5 – 2 m indoors when grown in bright, stable conditions.
Bright indirect light and steady warmth support the best stem development, while watering after the top 2 – 4 cm dry helps prevent root rot and keeps the leaves firm. A loose, organic but draining substrate, temperatures around 18 – 28 °C, moderate humidity, and careful placement suit it well; it is toxic if chewed by pets or children.
