Tradescantia 'Albovittata' is a restrained trailing cultivar with oval leaves striped in soft white and green, making it lighter and calmer than louder pink or purple Tradescantia forms. It grows with flexible stems that work in hanging pots, along shelf edges, or allowed to spill from low containers, but regular pinching keeps it fuller and less stringy.
Bright indirect light helps preserve the crisp striping, while watering after the top layer has dried slightly prevents the soggy conditions that cause yellow leaves and soft stems. A loose, fast-draining potting mix, moderate warmth, and occasional feeding are enough to keep it moving quickly, though the sap can irritate skin and should be kept away from pets that chew foliage. Tip pinching helps.
