Ulearum donburnsii is a small, rhizomatous aroid grown for its velvety, arrow-shaped leaves and low, compact habit rather than for size. It stays close to the substrate, making it especially suitable for terrariums or other controlled setups where warmth and humidity remain consistently high. Bright, indirect light, an organic but airy mix, and evenly moist conditions support steady growth, while drought or stagnant wet soil can set it back quickly.
Humidity above about 70% is ideal, temperatures around 18–24°C suit it well, and repotting should be done carefully because disturbed rhizomes may slow down afterward. Propagation is usually by rhizome division, and stable moisture matters more here than frequent feeding or upsizing pots for this species.
