Xanthosoma sagittifolium 'Mickey Mouse' is a self-heading aroid with large arrow-shaped leaves marked by creamy variegation and occasional translucent windowing that gives each blade a different outline and internal pattern. It usually reaches about 80–100 cm tall and wide indoors, growing from tuberous roots and thick upright petioles rather than from a vine.
Bright, indirect light, warmth, and a loose organic-rich aroid mix keep it growing steadily, while humidity around 60–80% helps prevent crisp margins. Water when the top layer has dried slightly, avoid soggy substrate, and handle it like other toxic aroids, since the plant contains calcium oxalate.
