Alocasia sp. Sulawesi 'Sabrina Narrow' balances slim arrow-shaped leaves with boldly mottled petioles, so the stems contribute almost as much as the blades. It usually stays in the 50–80 cm range indoors, giving you patterned-stem drama without the size of a large zebrina.
Warm temperatures, high humidity, and bright indirect light suit it best, along with a loose mix built from bark, coir or fibre, and mineral drainage. Water when the top portion has begun to dry instead of keeping the pot constantly wet. Yellow leaves and root trouble usually come from excess moisture, while brown edges point more often to dry air or inconsistent care than to any flaw in the plant’s natural growth habit. Once settled, it also adapts well to mineral or semi-hydro setups.
