Anthurium hookeri variegata keeps the same robust bird’s-nest structure as green hookeri but adds irregular cream, lime, and pale yellow patterning across thick, elongated leaves. Because the lamina is firmer and more leathery than many variegated tropical plants, it carries large-format variegation with a sturdier, more architectural presence.
Indoors, it works best in bright filtered light, steady warmth, and a breathable aroid mix that prevents heavy roots from sitting wet.
Anthurium hookeri variegata is ideal for growers who want a substantial, self-heading statement plant with strong color contrast, but without the fragility or constant fuss that often comes with softer variegated foliage. It works well as a bright anchor in larger indoor groupings.
