Caladium 'Gingerland' is a compact cultivar with creamy white leaves, soft green margins, and scattered red speckles that give the foliage a playful hand-painted look. It usually stays around 30–45 cm tall and wide, so it fits smaller containers and crowded displays better than many broader, taller caladium forms.
Bright indirect light helps keep the pale base crisp without scorching the thin surface, while warmth, high humidity, and lightly moist but airy substrate support steady growth during the active season.
As with other caladiums, dormancy is part of the normal cycle, so watering should taper off once the foliage starts to yellow and collapse. Division is by dormant tubers, and plant tissue contains calcium oxalate, making it toxic if chewed, despite the small scale and playful colouring.
