Goeppertia ornata 'Beauty Star' carries elongated leaves with brighter central zones, dark margins, and fine striping that looks softer and more brushed than the sharper lines on many pinstripe forms. The plant grows as an upright clump to roughly 50–60 cm, and like other Marantaceae it moves its leaves through the day, lifting them more vertically at night.
Consistent moisture, soft water, and humidity above about 60% help the foliage stay clean and prevent the brown edging that often follows dry air or mineral-heavy tap water. Keep it in bright indirect light, away from strong sun and drafts, and use a loose mix that drains but does not dry out too quickly. It is non-toxic to cats and dogs, which makes it easier to place in homes where more sensitive foliage plants would be a risk.
