Philodendron 'Ring of Fire' combines two traits that keep it popular: sharply serrated leaves and irregular multicolour variegation in green, cream, yellow, and sometimes orange or pink. The plant stays self-heading and upright rather than climbing away, so the foliage builds into a compact but heavily textured clump that does not need a support to look finished. Indoors it usually reaches around 60–90 cm over time.
Bright, indirect light supports stronger growth, but the pale areas still scorch easily in harsher sun. Watering after the top 3–5 cm of substrate has dried and using a very airy mix help protect the roots from staying wet too long.
It prefers temperatures around 18–28 °C and humidity from 60–80%, and like other philodendrons it is toxic if ingested.
