Goeppertia veitchiana 'Flamestar' carries large velvety leaves brushed with layered lime and mid-green patterning, often with darker margins and rich colour beneath, so the plant reads bold even before it reaches full size. Indoors it can grow to roughly 60–90 cm and forms an upright clump rather than a vine, which makes it useful where you want broad tropical foliage without needing support.
Bright, indirect light, temperatures around 18–26 °C, consistently moist but airy substrate, and humidity in the 60–80% range help it stay full and reduce edge browning. Like other Marantaceae, the leaves move with the day-night cycle.
It is considered non-toxic, so it suits homes with pets, provided you can give it steady moisture and protection from direct sun and dry drafts.
