Aeschynanthus radicans 'Caroline' focuses on the classic lipstick-plant formula: glossy deep green leaves, tidy trailing stems, and rich red flowers that appear in clusters once the plant is mature enough to bloom well. Stems usually reach 40–60 cm, so it fits both hanging planters and elevated pots without getting out of hand too quickly.
Bright indirect light is the main driver for bud formation, supported by warmth and a substrate loose enough to drain fast after each watering. Let the upper portion dry before watering again rather than keeping the pot constantly moist.
The plant is regarded as non-toxic, and its straightforward green foliage makes it a useful choice if you want dependable bloom contrast without curls, mottling, or variegation competing for attention.
