Aeschynanthus radicans 'Pink Polka' softens the usual lipstick-plant look with green semi-succulent leaves flecked in pink and coral-toned flowers that rise from darker buds. The stems trail freely and can reach around 90 cm, so the plant works best in hanging pots or on high shelves where both pattern and bloom can be seen together.
It wants bright indirect light, a loose substrate with bark and mineral aeration, and watering once the top layer has dried. Slight root crowding often supports better flowering than frequent potting on. Warm conditions and humidity above 50% keep the variegated foliage cleaner, while cold drafts, overwatering, or deep shade tend to show first as yellow leaves, soft stems, or a lack of buds. Stem cuttings root readily in warmth.
