Aglaonema 'Stripes' does exactly what its name promises: dark, glossy leaves are overlaid with bright linear striping that makes the whole plant look almost printed. The leaves are broad enough to show the pattern clearly, and the compact upright habit, usually about 30–60 cm indoors, keeps the clump looking dense and orderly rather than chaotic. Because it descends from the Aglaonema commutatum group, it handles medium to low indirect light reasonably well, though brighter filtered light keeps the striping bolder and the growth more vigorous.
Let the upper portion of the substrate dry between waterings, use a loose, fast-draining mix with some aeration, and keep temperatures warm and stable. Moderate indoor humidity is usually fine, with a little more helping reduce brown tips. It is ideal when you want strong leaf patterning that still reads clean and structured rather than splashy or noisy.
