Alocasia longiloba âSilverâ emphasizes the cooler side of the longiloba group, dusting elongated dark leaves with a pale frosted overlay that makes the silver veins appear even more luminous. The plant keeps an upright, elegant posture and usually reaches about 60â90 cm indoors, which lets it work as a strong vertical accent without overwhelming a room.
Compared with warmer or purple-backed forms, this one feels quieter and more metallic, especially when grown in bright filtered light. A warm, humid environment and a chunky, fast-draining substrate help the plant maintain both the sheen and the clean narrow lobes. Let the upper mix dry a little between waterings, but do not allow long harsh dry periods, because stressed roots quickly take the silvered finish off the next leaves.
