Alocasia nebula âSilverâ concentrates the species into a metallic jewel, with thick silver-grey leaves, dark recessed veins, and purple-backed depth that make the plant look almost mineral. It usually stays around 30â40 cm indoors, but the dense bullate texture gives it a premium, weighty feel beyond its size.
Bright filtered light sharpens the sheen, while very strong direct sun can flatten or mark the surface. Because this limestone-associated Bornean species dislikes stagnant conditions, a porous substrate with bark, perlite, and some mineral structure works especially well.
Keep humidity elevated, warmth steady, and moisture even but restrained, allowing the upper layer to dry slightly between waterings. It suits growers who enjoy slow species with a highly finished metallic leaf surface.
