Anoectochilus roxburghii 'Gold Bar' pushes jewel-orchid venation to the front, with dark velvety leaves so densely crossed by molten-gold lines that the green ground almost disappears. It grows slowly and stays low, rewarding close viewing rather than taking up much space, especially in a well-lit terrarium or cabinet.
Give it diffused light, constant humidity around 75–85%, a loose mossy substrate, and quiet airflow that prevents stagnation without drying the plant. Watering should keep the mix evenly moist, never waterlogged. Fall flowers are secondary to the foliage, and heavy feeding or harsh exposure quickly dulls the leaf quality that makes this cultivar distinctive. Because growth is deliberate, mature plants hold that dense gold pattern for a long time.
