Anthurium âBig Red Birdâ is a birdâs nest hybrid grown for broad, rippled foliage and red-toned veining that can intensify into a fuller blush under strong filtered light or slightly cooler conditions. Leaves emerge tightly rolled, then expand into thick, undulate blades that hold their form well without staking or climbing support.
That self-supporting rosette makes it especially useful as a structural anchor in a mixed collection, where it adds colour and mass without becoming chaotic. If you want an Anthurium that looks bold, upright, and distinctly tropical from every angle, âBig Red Birdâ does that with very little fuss.
