Anthurium chilmabajense keeps a strict vertical rhythm, producing narrow, strap-like leaves from a compact self-heading base rather than climbing or sprawling. The foliage is thick, leathery, and deep green with a subtle satin finish, giving the plant a restrained, species-led look that stays clear even in smaller spaces. Indoors it commonly reaches about 40–60 cm tall and 30–50 cm wide.
Bright indirect light, evenly moist but airy substrate, and humidity around 60–80% help it stay symmetrical. Warm, stable temperatures between 18–26°C suit it better than cool or very dry rooms. Grow it in a loose mix with bark, perlite, coco husk, and organic material so roots get both moisture and air.
Like most Anthuriums, it contains calcium oxalate and is not for chewing pets or children.
