Colocasia esculenta 'Lemon Lime Gecko' takes elephant ear scale and gives it a far less ordinary surface, splashing broad green leaves with sharp lime mottling and setting them on petioles streaked in purple. The result is bold without being flatly neon, because the pattern reads more like reptile skin than simple variegation. In warm conditions it grows fast enough to feel dramatic quickly, which makes it a strong choice when you want one foliage plant to carry a whole display.
This is not a dry-room aroid. Colocasia esculenta 'Lemon Lime Gecko' wants warmth, consistent moisture, regular feeding, and humidity that keeps new leaves expanding cleanly. Treat it as a hungry, water-loving plant in a rich but draining mix, and it rewards you with size, pattern, and colour that look far more complex than standard green elephant ears.
