Codiaeum variegatum 'Mammi' takes croton colour and twists it into something more animated, with narrow curled leaves that spiral and bend instead of lying flat along the stems. Reds, oranges, greens, and yellows shift through the foliage at once, so the whole plant feels energetic even when it is standing still. Because the habit stays fairly compact and upright, all that movement remains contained rather than turning into a shapeless mass.
