Dracaena fragrans 'Warneckii' is a striped cane-form cultivar with sword-like leaves patterned in green, cream, and silvery white, giving the plant a clean linear look even from across a room. Indoors it usually grows to about 1â1.5 m, and as stems branch it can build into a narrow vertical mass of fine striping without much floor spread.
Bright indirect light keeps the variegation sharp, though lower light is tolerated with slower growth, and watering should wait until the top 3â5 cm of substrate have dried. A loose indoor mix with bark or perlite prevents root stagnation, while temperatures around 18â26 °C and average humidity keep leaf edges cleaner.
Stem segments root readily for propagation, and because it contains saponins, it should be treated as unsafe for pets to chew.
