Dracaena pethera var. pulchra 'Coppertone' forms low rosettes of broad strap-like leaves with wavy margins, dark green spotting, and a bronze to copper sheen that intensifies under strong light. Pinkish tones can also appear across the surface, giving the foliage a metallic cast that stands out from greener snake-plant relatives. Individual leaves may reach around 60 cm, but the plant still behaves as a slow, drought-tolerant rosette rather than a fast spreader.
Bright indirect light with some gentle direct sun suits it well, and watering should be sparse, only after the substrate has dried thoroughly. A mineral-rich succulent mix, warmth above about 12 °C, and wide stable pots help it perform best. Like other Dracaena in this group, it is resilient but toxic to pets if ingested.
