Dracaena reflexa var. angustifolia 'Magenta' is an upright cane-form dracaena with narrow arching leaves, deep green centres, and vivid reddish-magenta margins that add colour without making the plant look bulky. Indoors it can reach roughly 90–180 cm over time, but the tufted foliage and branching canes keep the outline relatively light and columnar. It tolerates moderate light, yet brighter filtered light usually gives denser growth and cleaner colour along the leaf edges.
Let the top few centimetres of substrate dry before watering, use a breathable mix, and avoid cold drafts or fluoride-heavy water if tip browning becomes a problem. It remains one of the steadier structural houseplants for growers who want strong lines with less watering than most broad-leaved tropicals.
