Fittonia albivenis 'Forest Flame' is a compact mosaic plant with deep green leaves traced by intense coral-red to pink venation, forming a low spreading mat that lights up shaded positions and terrarium displays. It stays naturally short and bushy, making it ideal for humid plant shelves, closed glass setups, or as a colourful underplanting around larger tropicals. Even when it wilts from dryness, it often recovers quickly after watering, which adds to its appeal as a small but forgiving foliage plant.
Keep it in bright, indirect light, use a humus-rich airy mix, and maintain even moisture plus humidity for the strongest vein colour and fullest growth.
