Fittonia albivenis 'Joly Josan Red' is a compact nerve plant with broad green leaves crossed by strong red veins, giving it a warmer, deeper look than pinker or whiter fittonia selections. Because the plant creeps and fills out quickly, Fittonia albivenis 'Joly Josan Red' is especially useful in terrariums, dish gardens, and small humid displays where a low plant still needs obvious pattern.
It also collapses dramatically when dry and recovers fast after watering, which makes its moisture needs very readable once you know the rhythm. If you want a small foliage plant that delivers dense colour contrast without height, this cultivar does it clearly and reliably.
