Hoya aff. vitellina is a vigorous climbing or trailing plant with rounded green leaves that often show silver flecking and can develop red margins under stronger indirect light. The “aff.” label means it is related to, but not formally published as, Hoya vitellina, so it is best treated conservatively as an unnamed allied form rather than a fully settled species.
It grows well on trellises, hoops, or hanging supports and responds best to bright, indirect light, an airy substrate, and watering once the top few centimetres have dried. Moderate to higher humidity and warm temperatures around 18–26 °C help it grow evenly, while semi-hydro setups can also work if nutrients and flushing stay consistent. The latex sap may irritate skin, and ingestion is best avoided around pets.
