Hoya curtisii 'Silver' is a compact trailing Hoya with very small heart-shaped leaves carrying broader, stronger silver coverage than ordinary curtisii forms. The result is a dense shimmering mat of foliage rather than a long sparse vine, which makes it especially useful for hanging baskets, shelf edges, or mixed arrangements where fine texture matters.
Bright indirect light with a little gentle sun keeps the silver contrast clearer, while the semi-succulent leaves prefer a drying interval between waterings rather than constant moisture. An airy substrate with bark and perlite, temperatures around 18–28 °C, and moderate humidity support steady growth without fuss. Root rot follows wet heavy mixes quickly, while flowering usually needs time, warmth, and stable light.
This is a strong textural Hoya for growers who want metallic-looking foliage in a plant that stays relatively small.
