Hoya sp. Lai Chau 'Splash' is a northern Vietnam clone with glossy semi-succulent leaves covered in fine silver flecking, giving it a polished, quietly speckled look rather than heavy marbling. It grows as a slow twining vine that can trail or climb to about 1.2 m indoors, and mature plants may eventually produce creamy white flowers with a sweet scent in the evening.
Bright indirect light keeps the splashing clearer, while soft humidity and good airflow help it stay neat and compact. Water when the upper part of the mix has dried, use a breathable orchid-style substrate, and avoid cold dips below about 12 °C. Hoya sp. Lai Chau 'Splash' is particularly useful when you want a refined patterned Hoya that stays manageable and elegant without needing huge leaves or dramatic pigmentation.
