Hoya pubicalyx 'Speckled' is the foliage-driven form for growers who want the speed and reliability of pubicalyx with extra silver patterning across long dark leaves. The vine moves quickly, adapts to hoops, poles, or hanging baskets, and looks attractive even before flowering because the speckling adds a starry, reflective finish to the leaf surface.
Mature plants can still deliver the species' familiar umbels in pink to maroon shades, so you are not sacrificing flower potential for leaf appeal. It suits brighter indoor positions best, where the leaves stay firm and the silver contrast remains visible, and its forgiving nature makes 'Speckled' one of the best choices when you want an easy Hoya that still feels decorative and a little more special than the plain form.
