Passiflora tricuspis is a fast-climbing South American vine with narrow three-lobed leaves marked in green, cream, and pink, giving it a striped foliage effect that matters more than its relatively small white flowers. It is often compared with Passiflora trifasciata but grows with more vigour and shows a narrower, more elongated leaf shape, so it can fill a support faster while keeping the same foliage-led appeal.
Bright indirect light with some gentler sun helps the striping read more clearly, while evenly moist but well-draining substrate and elevated humidity support continuous growth. Sudden shifts in watering or temperature can trigger leaf drop, so steadier conditions matter more than heavy feeding. On a trellis or mesh, the moving ribbon of patterned foliage is easy to appreciate.
