Peperomia caperata 'Burbella' stands out for its compact size and silvery metallic sheen spread across dark, bullate leaves. The foliage is thick, heart-shaped, and deeply textured, creating a small mound that rarely exceeds 15 cm but still feels sculptural and dense. Because the sheen changes subtly with angle and light, the plant works well as a close-up foliage subject on desks, shelves, or in decorative pots where fine detail can be appreciated.
Bright, indirect light keeps the silver tones clearer, though moderate light is usually tolerated. Let the upper layer of the substrate dry before watering, use a loose mix with good drainage, and keep the plant warm to avoid soft stems and rot. Flower spikes may appear, but the main value is the shimmering leaf surface and compact habit.
