Peperomia 'Sunrise' is a compact cultivar with deeply ridged leaves that combine silvery grey-green tops with vivid pink-red undersides and stems, so the plant shows strong contrast from several angles. It stays small, usually around 15 cm tall, and forms a neat mound that works easily on desks, shelves, or in terrariums.
Bright, indirect light keeps the metallic top surface and warm undersides clearer, while average indoor humidity is generally enough for healthy growth. Let the top of the substrate dry before watering again, use a loose, airy mix, and avoid constant wetness around the roots. The plant rarely needs much pruning or repotting.
The main appeal is the sunrise-like colour shift across the rippled foliage and the way the red tones lift the whole rosette.
