Peperomia obtusifolia 'USA' is a compact variegated baby rubber plant with glossy leaves painted in deep green, cream, and soft yellow, giving each stem a slightly hand-brushed look. The upright habit stays bushy and contained, usually around 25–30 cm, so it suits desks, windowsills, shelves, or grouped displays where you want brighter foliage.
Bright, indirect light helps maintain the clearest variegation, while moderate light is often tolerated with slower growth. Because the leaves are thick and semi-succulent, the substrate should dry partly between waterings, and a loose, well-draining mix is far safer than a heavy, moisture-retentive one. Standard indoor humidity is enough, and the plant is mainly grown for painterly leaf pattern and easy indoor behaviour.
