Peperomia orba 'Pixie' is a small, bushy peperomia with smooth, teardrop-shaped leaves and a naturally tidy, rounded habit that stays easy to place. It usually reaches only around 15–20 cm, so it fits well on desks, windowsills, shelves, or in small decorative pots.
The leaves are semi-succulent and slightly glossy, which means the plant stores some moisture and prefers the mix to dry partly between waterings rather than staying wet. Bright, indirect light gives the best density, though moderate light is usually acceptable with slower growth. Use a loose, well-draining substrate, keep the plant warm, and avoid cold drafts or overpotting.
Because it stays compact and non-toxic, it works well in pet-friendly homes for low-fuss growers and in small spaces where a simple green mound is enough.
