Philodendron 'Florida Bronze' belongs to the Florida hybrid group and is grown for new leaves that open in warm bronze tones before deepening to textured green as they harden. Mature foliage becomes lobed and more dramatic with support, while the red, textured petioles add contrast and reflect its pedatum and squamiferum background. The plant can climb or remain bushier without support, but a moss pole usually encourages larger leaves and a more defined vertical shape.
Bright, indirect light suits it best, with medium light tolerated at the cost of slower growth and weaker colour shifts. Water after the upper layer of the substrate has dried, keep the mix airy with bark and perlite, and maintain warmth plus moderate humidity.
It is grown mainly for tonal change, leaf shape, and climbing structure rather than variegation.
