Philodendron genevievianum is an undescribed climbing philodendron grown for soft pleated leaves and fuzzy petioles rather than for size or colour contrast alone. The blades have an accordion-like ribbing that stays obvious even when the plant is not large, and the fresh green tone keeps the texture easy to read under filtered light. It climbs best on a pole or branch, where the leaves become longer and the pleating stronger than they do on unsupported stems.
Bright, indirect light, watering after the top 2–3 cm of substrate has dried, and a loose bark-and-coir mix keep it steady without soggy roots. It prefers temperatures around 20–28 °C and humidity from 65–85%.
Like other philodendrons, it contains calcium oxalate and should be kept away from pets and children that might chew it.
