Philodendron pedatum 'Glad Hands' is a compact climbing selection with narrow finger-like lobes that make each leaf look playful, airy, and sharply defined. It keeps the familiar pedatum character but presents it in a more sculptural, more graphic way that works especially well on a pole in a smaller space.
Bright indirect light helps maintain tight growth and stronger leaf division, while a chunky, free-draining substrate keeps roots healthy without turning dry too quickly.
Philodendron pedatum 'Glad Hands' can trail a bit, but it looks far better once trained upward, where new leaves start to show more complexity. This is a strong option if you want hand-shaped foliage with movement and character, but without the bulk of larger split-leaf hybrids.
