Philodendron 'Golden Dragon', also sold as 'Lime Fiddle', is a fast-growing hybrid believed to be related to Philodendron bipennifolium, grown for long, deeply lobed leaves that resemble a stylised dragon outline. Some plants also show lighter golden mottling, but the main attraction is the strongly cut silhouette and quick climbing growth.
Given a pole or stake, it can establish rapidly and produce larger, more dramatic leaves than unsupported plants. Bright, indirect light helps maintain strong shape and keeps the foliage clear without burning it, while a loose aroid mix with bark and perlite supports healthy roots. Water when the upper layer begins to dry and keep humidity moderate to high for best performance.
This is a plant for growers who want energetic growth and bold leaf outlines more than compact form.
