Philodendron 'Red Beauty' is a compact hybrid that stacks broad leaves in a dense upright form, with new growth opening bright red before maturing toward deep green while warmer tones linger underneath. It behaves as a self-heading plant rather than a climber, so the colour sits in a stable rosette instead of moving out along long vines. Indoor plants usually reach around 60–90 cm in both height and spread.
Bright, indirect light supports the strongest colour, and watering after the top 2–4 cm of substrate has dried helps keep the base from staying too wet. It prefers a loose aroid mix with bark, perlite, and coir, moderate humidity around 50–70%, and temperatures between 18 and 28 °C.
Because it contains calcium oxalate, it should be kept away from pets and children, especially where fallen leaves could be chewed.
