Philodendron 'Sucre's Slim' is a rare clumping philodendron known for very narrow spear-like blades held on unusually long petioles, creating a lot of line and negative space without much leaf mass. It differs from both climbers and creepers because it forms tight basal rosettes instead of running across the pot or ascending a support. Leaf blades are usually around 20–25 cm long, while petioles can stretch much further and give the plant a distinctly upright, airy stance.
Bright, indirect light keeps the growth compact, and watering after the top 2–3 cm has dried helps it avoid both stress and rot. A wide, shallow pot, 60–80% humidity, temperatures between 18 and 28 °C, and a loose aroid mix suit it best. Like most philodendrons, it is toxic if ingested.
