Piper sp. Indonesia 'Pink' is an undescribed Indonesian form with small rounded leaves, a glossy thicker surface, and intense metallic pink marbling that stands out even in terrarium-scale displays. The leaves are only about 6 cm across, but the concentrated pattern gives the plant much more visual weight than its size suggests. It remains compact and tidy, making it especially useful for cabinets, enclosed setups, and other high-humidity spaces where larger Piper species would quickly dominate.
Bright, indirect light keeps the pink contrast strongest without scorching the leaf surface, while humidity around 70–90% and consistently moist but airy substrate support even growth. Use a fine-textured mix with sphagnum, bark, coir, and perlite, and avoid allowing the root zone to dry out completely. This is a collector Piper built for close-up viewing and stable tropical conditions.
