Pokon Cactus Potting Soil is a ready-made 5 L mix developed for cacti and succulents that need rapid drainage and plenty of air around the roots instead of the constant moisture held by standard potting compost. The blend is sand-enriched and structured to dry out properly between waterings, which helps reduce rot risk in plants with thick, shallow root systems. It also includes built-in nutrition for about sixty days, giving newly potted arid plants a moderate feeding start without pushing soft, weak growth. This mix is meant to be used as it is rather than diluted with general-purpose soil, and it is especially useful for classic desert species grown indoors or on balconies. For jungle succulents and epiphytes, a more organic, moisture-retentive substrate is still the better option.
