Saribus rotundifolius is a striking tropical fan palm with near-round, stiff deep green fronds carried on an upright solitary trunk. Even as a younger plant it reads clearly as a statement palm, with a cleaner and more graphic look than many feather palms used indoors.
It needs bright light, steady warmth, and evenly managed moisture to perform well in containers, but in return offers a strong, long-lived structural element for bright rooms. Because the leaves are almost circular, the plant has a resort-like tropical character that feels different from more standard indoor palms.
It is best suited to spaces that want a true palm centerpiece rather than a filler plant.
