This predator is useful when you want a slower background layer of control. The sachets release mites gradually over several weeks, which makes them a good fit for prevention, for light infestations, and for collections where spider mites tend to reappear.

Why this predator is different

• Gradual release: the sachets keep feeding out mites over time instead of only on application day.
• More tolerant of dry air: better suited to lower humidity than Phytoseiulus persimilis.
• Can survive on pollen for a while: useful when pest pressure is still low.

How to use it

• Hang the sachets in sheltered spots near foliage and close to the part of the collection you want to protect.
• Do not open the sachets; they already have an exit hole.
• Hold sachets by the cardboard strip at the top to avoid damage.
• Repeat after about 4–6 weeks if spider mite pressure is still visible.

• Best fit: prevention and lighter infestations
• Working range: most effective at about 13–32 °C
