Syngonium macrophyllum 'Ice Frost', also known as 'Frosted Heart', produces broad, plush heart-shaped leaves with a cool silvery bloom that reads softer and heavier than most podophyllum cultivars. It starts fairly compact but becomes a stronger climber with support, and mature leaves can grow well beyond 20 cm across under bright, stable indoor conditions.
Bright indirect light brings out the frosted surface, while evenly spaced watering after the upper layer dries keeps growth steady without pushing this slower species into waterlogging. Use a loose mix with bark and mineral drainage, keep temperatures around 18 – 28 °C with moderate humidity, and note that it contains calcium oxalate and is unsafe if ingested.
