Syngonium podophyllum 'Mouse Ears' stays dwarfed and rounded, with frosted green leaves edged darker and held on short petioles that keep the plant tight and clustered. Unlike many Syngonium, it tends to retain a juvenile look instead of rushing into larger, lobed adult foliage, which makes it especially useful for desks, shelves, or small containers.
Bright indirect light keeps the contrast clean, while watering after the top 2 cm dry helps maintain even moisture without the root stress that follows soggy compost. A light, airy substrate, temperatures around 18 – 27 °C, moderate humidity, and gentle pruning of runners are ideal, and the plant remains toxic if chewed by pets or children.
