Tradescantia zebrina 'Violet Hill', also sold as 'Pink Joy', has cool blue-green leaves banded in silver and backed in vivid violet, giving it a slightly icier, cleaner look than warmer burgundy zebrina forms. It grows quickly into a trailing plant for shelves, hanging pots, or mixed arrangements, and the stems root easily, so it recovers well from pruning or propagation.
Bright indirect light keeps the contrast sharp, while a draining mix and partial dry-down between waterings reduce the rot and yellowing that happen when tradescantias stay wet and shaded. It is ideal when you want fast movement and clear striping, though the sap is still mildly irritating and best kept away from curious pets and children. Tip pinching keeps it dense and more balanced.
