Trichocereus bridgesii f. monstruosa is a monstrose cactus that grows in irregular knobbly segments, so the whole plant looks more sculpted than orderly and quickly becomes a focal oddity in a collection. It stays relatively compact compared with columnar non-monstrose plants, but the clustered, uneven growth gives it plenty of character even at small size.
Full sun or the brightest window you have, a sharply draining mineral cactus mix, and deep but infrequent watering after complete dry-down are the basics for keeping it sound and firm. Growth is slow and handling should be careful, and because the species contains psychoactive alkaloids it is ornamental only and should be kept away from pets and children. Consistency matters more than intensity here.
